Stitch your design and then wash the cloth to reveal the design clear of the stencilled dots. Japanese tsumugi cotton fabrics are of exceptional quality and their distinctive yet subtle textures give them versatile function. Tsumugi are piece-dyed shot cotton with the warp thread one colour and the weft thread always black. The ecru fabric is a high-quality cotton cloth for sashiko.
